• About the Role: The Reunification Foundation is seeking a results-oriented Grant Writer to help expand our reach and sustain our mission. Our primary goal is to provide essential reunification materials and specialized training to schools and community organizations at no cost to them. We are looking for a strategic partner to identify, draft, and manage grant proposals that secure funding for both direct program delivery and essential operating costs. Key Responsibilities: -Research and identify private foundations, corporate giving programs, and government grants aligned with school safety, emergency management, and family services. -Develop persuasive, high-quality grant proposals and letters of inquiry (LOIs). -Articulate the urgent need for standardized reunification protocols to diverse funding audiences. -Secure "capacity building" and operational grants to ensure the long-term sustainability of the foundation. -Maintain a calendar of submissions and reporting deadlines. Qualifications: -Proven track record of securing five- and six-figure grants for 501(c)(3) organizations. -Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical training concepts into compelling humanitarian impact. -Experience in securing both programmatic (no-cost materials/training) and operational (overhead/staffing) funding. -Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
